Sherwood Poboy in Walker

Used to love this place, haven't been since the flood. We ordered half and half po-poys, thoroughly disappointed they must be running low on oysters and shrimp. One half only had 4 oysters and 6 shrimp.

This is one of the little secrets eating places in Southern Louisiana. the food is absolutely incredible! I love the shrimp Po-Boys the seafood platter the hamburgers are wonderful so fresh! And I continue to ask the question how did they get it done so quickly and it be so fresh. they have always given us excellent service inside or through the drive-thru

Ordered a poboy and chicken kids meal... poboy was good... I am extremely upset with the kids meal!! They stuffed the bag full of fries and gave my son one tiny chicken nugget. All for 15 bucks.. and it took 20 minutes to get my food... yall should be ashamed of the poor quality service and effort that went into this order...

Great shrimp poboy and fried pickles! Staff was very friendly and price reasonable.

Ordered a half of an Oyster Po-Boy. Had three whole oysters on it. Wow! And a ton of pickles. The pickles were so plentiful and sour, that they overpowered the flavor of the oysters. It tasted like a Dill Pickle sandwich. Ends of the bread were hard and chewy, like the bread was old or something. This is NOT an example of how a Po-Boy should be in Louisiana.

They make your food wrong and then when you let them know they don't offer to fix it or refund your money. Buyer beware when eating here. The food is good when it's actually made right and you dont end up wasting money on food you can't eat.

I always get the Shrimp poboy. They are always good. The employees are very helpful and nice.

I ordered the Philly cheese steak and onion rings and it was very good

This was my first visit. My family and I had the shrimp po boy combo and they were delicious!!!!!😘

The food is great.. But they really need to focus on hiring people who don't seem aggravated to answer the phone. No one wants to order from a business with incredibly rude employees.

Soooo delicious. I ordered the shrimp plate and po boys and there was no money wasted here. Shrimp was awesome! All of it got ate! I ordered through waitr delivery too! Very happy!

My wife wanted a Po-boy during our trip from VA to TX. Her shrimp PO-boy was awesome and I had the chicken tenders and fries which were great and fresh. The onion rings were very good too.

Good food. Long wait. And a little pricey

I really enjoy their catfish poboy. It is huge, even the smaller size and loaded down. Their fountain drink machine is perfect. My Dr Pepper was just right. The service is always friendly and fast.

I have to say the people were pretty nice and they were definitely social distancing one of our Po-Boys was good and the other one was just okay that's why I am getting at 3

Boyfriend wanted to try this place out for the first time. Ordered a roast beef poboy with gravy. As the menu said it did in fact come with it. Boyfriend asked for extra gravy since it also said it came on the side. Apparently when people ask for extra gravy, that means no gravy shall be given. So needless to say I have an INCREDIBLY dry sandwich and cheese fries that have a pathetic slice of cheese on top of them that’s not even melted. Definitely won’t be back. I’d rather drive back home to NOLA for a REAL roast beef poboy.

Always a good place to eat. Pricing reasonable for the quantity. Family leaves satisfied after each meal.

Excellent PO boys. Seafood is on par with restaurants that charge way more. A rare gem that everybody knows about.

Friendly but had bettet

Been looking for a shrimp Po boy place to eat. This place is great! The shrimp poboys and home made onion rings were a awesome. We price was better than expected and the service was friendly and courteous. Right outside of E Baton Rouge... Convenient on and off from Hwy. Thanks for some great food.

Wonderful food and clean environment. Jessica at the cashier made sure our visit was pleasant and goes above and beyond for her customers. Will definitely be returning.

Super friendly staff

At least twice a week I go to Sherwood with co workers and we have never had a bad experience. The woman at the counter taking orders is always pleasant and more than willing to entertain some of our requests the cook is really awesome and clearly knows what he is doing. The dining room is really clean and always has everything stocked. If you have not tried it please stop and try I promise you will not be disappointed

The Fried Oysters aren't that great, but everything else is very good.

The food was not good at all, the shrimp on the po boy tasted like it was very old and was made of burnt rubber.They only serve turkey bacon,that's not bacon!!! Way over priced,ridiculous.

The food is excellent and the girl that takes your orders is amazing. She is so very sweet and If she doesn't have any customers to wait she brings out the food and checks to see everyone is ok

Saturday.. bought a shrimp Po boy and fries. It was dry. Shrimp was fried to a crisp, no taste. No mayo tiny pieces of tomato, hardly any lettuce. Fries—-had about 12. No taste. I’m surprised at the quality of the product I was served. It could have been the time I picked it up....8:30 pm. They were getting ready to close and maybe this is the reason for poor quality. However, I plan on returning later and trying again.

It was ok had to hear about staffing problems the whole time I was there and it took about a hour to get 3 po boys

There poboys are good there grilled chicken not so much.

Burger and onion ring combo Amazing! Best burger and o-rings I've had in years. Called order in, everything was ready when we got there and still nice and hot when we got home.

We do take out here every Friday, good food we would recommend them highly.

Didn’t like there kind of bread.
